Zeinab Chaghakaboodi

Biography

Zeinab Chaghakaboodi is the top B.S. and M.S. graduate of Plant Breeding from Razi University of Kermanshah. She took a sabbatical in Valencia Polytechnic University, Spain in 2016 and received her PhD in Agricultural of biotechnology from Tehran University in September 2017. She officially began her collaboration with Razi University in September 2021, where she is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Genetics and Production at the Faculty of Agriculture.
Dr. Chaghakaboodi has been teaching several courses to B.S. students such as plant breeding, genetic engineering, cell and tissue culture, Statistics and Probability, and Experimental design in agricultural research. Her main research interests are Molecular agriculture, Plant metabolites, Genetic Engineering, Plant cell and tissue culture, Abiotic stresses, Gene transfer and bioinformatics.

She has published single-authored as well as joint papers with her graduate students under her supervision in these areas in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
